I am a 34-year old professional whose interests are varied and sprinkled with visions of grandeur. I enjoy learning about others and their lifestyles even if I don’t condone or agree with it. That is what this world go round. Different folks and different interests. I am motivated and inspired to try new things and continue learning about anything and everything.

In addition, I am still attempting to become a perpetual tourist in small remote beach towns where drinking mai tai’s are the only decision I have to make. I have a wide variety of opinions and interests that don’t necessarily define who I am but provide me with the fun and laughter that everyone needs more of. My favorite past-time is writing essays about myself to sound humorous, witty and sarcastic.

I moved to New Mexico as a child and spent the better part of my youth there. I moved through grade school and upon High School graduation moved to Las Cruces, NM where I spent my first two years of college studying Electrical Engineering. I took a semester off to move to Florida and work at Walt Disney World. While there, I found my love of marketing and upon returning home decided to move to Colorado to finsh school at Colorado State University. I graduated in 1999 with a degree in Marketing.

After graduation I immedately took a position with a logistics company in Denver. Although it wasn't my ideal career path, it did teach me a lot about the real world and gave me my first taste of the business life outside of academia.

I bounced from job to job for a while and finally found my calling when I took a position with an ad agency. Again, I learned significant amount of marketing tactics, strategy and creative aspects of the profession.

I now work for Swanson Services Corporation where I am the Marketing Manager. I wear many hats and am involved in the strategic direction of our company. I also perform graphic design, public relations, traditional marketing tactics, web design and fulfillment, just to name a few.

Several years ago, I started freelancing my skills and started my own marketing firm called Encite International. I have several steady clients and really enjoy working in a variety of industries performing a wide variety of functions.

I also am heavily involved with a local Gaelic Sports Club called the Denver Gaels. We play and promote the national sports of Ireland which are Gaelic Football and Hurling. For more information click here. I also frequently play a variety of sports, not only to keep fit, but because I enjoy the competition. I am in no way an obsessed, rabid sports fan, but have been known (on occasion) to yell at the TV during various sports contests. I guess some aspects of my personality are typical male characteristics, which also include sporadic lapses in better judgment. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, Brogan. Family and friends are definitely important to me also. My immediate family lives here in Denver and summers are usually filled with BBQ’s and nephews' birthdays.

I have been lucky enough to meet many great people over the years and am lucky to have the friends and collegues that I have. I have learned quite a bit from them all, so if some of you are reading this, thank you.
